ISO was a little too high even for a D90 but I though it was still cool looking

You got the D90. WOW awesome!!! How is the video the thing takes. Is it true it doesn't focus if you zoom in while filming?

Yes, that's true.. focusing is manual only.

By the way, nice shot.

Video is so good you don't ever need a video camera unless your hard core

No focus will filming BUT you can manual focus and if you use a wide angle lens focusing is only good for 3 feet or closer

If I were to use a dSLR for video shooting, it would only be on a stationary tripod. I'm not putting down dSLR fliming, because done properly and it could be amazing, I'm just saying it's usefulness is limited (much more than P&S filming) and it'll never catch on all that much.

I really want a D90. I'm satisfied with my D50 but I would be more than happy to upgrade to the D90.

I'd like one as the family camera, would be great to shoot to be able to shoot video and stills without having to use the point and shoot... Another bonus is I have a collection of Nikon pro lenses...

Thanks everyone again... Give me a month or two to get use to the camera and we should really see what its worth....

How long of video files can you record in HD? I have to imagine it hogs mad memory
