WAS OVER AT CAPTREE AND FIRE ISLAND NAT'L SEASHORE THIS AFTERNOON. FIGURED I'D POST THIS ONE SHOT TONIGHT BEFORE GOING TO BED.
IT'S ACTUALLY A PIC OF THE LIGHTHOUSE FACING NORTHEAST AND A PIC OF THE SUNSET 180 DEGREES OVER MY SHOULDERS FACING SOUTH WEST. THE WINDOWS IN THE LIGHTHOUSE WERE REFLECTING THE SUN
SO NICELY. HOPE IT DOESN'T LOOK TOO WEIRD. I LIKE IT AND HOPE YOU DO TOO...

if you darken the lighthouse and house it might look a little better. its like, if the suns setting behind them, wheres the light coming from?
otherwise its a pretty cool picture. ive been meaning to get out to fire island but im scared of all the fags!! (not really, im just lazy)

I WOULD HAVE GONE DARKER BUT THE FOREGROUND WOULD HAVE LOST DETAIL. I LEFT THE WINDOWS LIKE THAT BECAUSE IT LOOKS AS THOUGH THE SUNLIGHT IS COMING THRU THE LIGHTHOUSE....EVEN THOUGH NOT REALLY POSSIBLE!

i forget how much the ferry is but i think roundtrip between ferry and train it would cost me some $30-$40 to go to Fire Island
FERRY? IS THERE ONE THAT EVEN COMES CLOSE TO THE LIGHTHOUSE?
WTF? JUST GET A CAR! LOL! AND STAY AWAY FROM CHERRY GROVE. SOMEONE SAID THAT'S WHERE THE HAND HOLDING.....WELL, YOU KNOW! :?
