Logo design contest!

Ok, a lot of us hated the old logo up top. But I can't make anything I like. Jake made a good one and we lost the file. So it never gets changed.

So, anyone who wants to come up with something, make us a logo for up top. It can't be any wider of taller then the current one, needs to match the color theme of the board, and have links for Home, Gallery, Forums, Links and Staff on it. You can use your own pictures, or any picture taken by an Admin here.

Post the designs up here. No real prize, other then getting to see your logo used on the site.

EDIT - I put up one I did myself for now just to get rid of the ugly stuff, but the contest is still open if anyone comes up with something better!

HMMMMM...WHY NOT JUST MAKE THE LOST LOGO OVER AGAIN. I'VE LOST STUFF BECAUSE MY MAC FROZE IN THE MIDDLE OF SOMETHING. LOST IT...AND STARTED OVER.
YOU GUYS ARE THE ONES WITH THE GREAT CAMERAS AND WIDE VARIETY OF PLACES.
I DON'T THINK IT SHOULD BE JUST ONE PLACE, BUT INSTEAD A FEW...HALF A DOZEN?

Not sure about animated, that might be a bit distracting, but go ahead, if we like it we'll use it.

As for redoing the lost one, I don't think Jake has the time and I'm sick of looking at this one.

Made this in literally 5 minutes and will expand upon it if it looks like something you all would be interested in...
IMHO a picture of a specific place makes the logo cluttered, and with strict transparency in the orig. logo it almost cheapens it... something like this that includes a blend to the background color is cross browser compatible, and brings a bit of extra class to the page.

i will work on this as it is a rough idea only, not a final product

Yeah, it took a few months after the contest before I had time to actually redo the header, but yours is up there!

Now someday I need to redesign the buttons around it so they actually work right in IE as well as Firefox...so much work to do on the site and so little time lol.
